Charter and Magnet Schools Report
Table The Charter and Magnet Schools Report table lists the total number of Reading First schools in each state/territory and the number of charter and magnet schools that are participating in the Reading First program.
Clicking on the plus sign (+) to the left of the state/territory name expands the table to display district-level charter and magnet school information. Profile Reports containing more detailed and comprehensive information on each state and district may be obtained by clicking on the underlined entity name.
Map The Charter and Magnet Schools Report map displays the number of charter and magnet schools funded by Reading First in each state. Use the selection tool to the right of the map to change the type of school displayed on the map.
Note: The map displays information for the 50 states only. Data are not included for Reading First schools in American Samoa, the Bureau of Indian Education, the District of Columbia, and the Virgin Islands.
