Awards
Overview Reports providing information for all funded states and territories may be created by clicking on the links below. Where a state/territory name within the reports is preceded by a plus sign (+), clicking on the plus sign (+) expands the information to include district-level data. Clicking on an underlined state/territory or district name generates specific Profile Reports on the selected entity. Alternately, Profile Reports may be created by using the Profile Search to the right. Profile Reports present more detailed and comprehensive information, such as lists of participating schools and assessments used in each grade.
Profile Search
Awards Summary
The Awards Summary provides information on funding awarded to each state/territory since the inception of the Reading First program.
School List Report
The School List Report displays all Reading First districts and schools within each state/territory.
Locale Report
The Locale Report provides information on the geographic locales, ranging from “large city” to “rural,” of funded Reading First schools.
Discontinued Schools Report
The Discontinued Schools Report displays information for sites where Reading First funding has been terminated.
Title I Report
The Title I Report provides information on Reading First schools that receive Title I funding.
Charter and Magnet Schools Report
The Charter and Magnet Schools Report provides information on charter and magnet schools that receive Reading First funding.
Assessment Report
The Assessment Report provides information on the assessments and subtests reported by funded states/territories in their Reading First Annual Performance Report (APR).
Fluency and Comprehension Measures
The Fluency and Comprehension Measures report provides information on the outcome measures used by each state/territory to measure specifically fluency and comprehension skills.
Disclaimer: State education agencies provide Reading First awards information and student achievement data. In some cases, data from extant sources such as the Common Core of Data have been used to provide demographic information. AIR has not altered student achievement data, although system-detected errors have been omitted (e.g., in cases where the number of students passing is greater than the total number tested, etc.). Student achievement data totals are based upon the aggregation of school-level data.
